IUI, PCOS, and pregnancyFrom: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Aug 2003 15:06:57 -0500 (CDT)
Hi all. Thanks or such a great online resource. I am 32 years old and having been TTC #2 for 10 months. I discovered I have mild to moderate PCOS about six months ago, and I am currently taking 1500 mg of Glucophage. I have lost weight and my energy is better. My Reproductive Endocrinologist also had me try 100 mg of Clomid during the past two cycles without any luck (I ovulated though, which is great). Now he wants me to move on to clomid with an HCG shot and an IUI to bypass the whole hostile cervical mucus issue. I would love to hear from anyone who has conceived this way and how long it took. I know I haven't been trying too long, but I am beginning to feel a little down about the whole infertility issue. Any encouragement would lift my spirits! Baby Dust to All! Kim
