I began taking Metformin two weeks ago and increased by dosage this week to 1000 mg. At 500 mg. I felt good. But this week I am having major GI side effects. Bad nausea and diahrea. I was hoping to get a sense from others how long they experienced these side effects. Also, I'm also trying to gauge how soon most start ovulating if they do. And, I'm also curious about weight loss. I've struggled with weight most of my life and since going off the pill (after being on for 8 years with significantly decreased PCOS symptoms) I've gained weight and have a lot of trouble losing it. I'm hoping that it will come off more easily now.
