I can sympathize with the boil thing - I've suffered for more than 20 years (I'm 37 now) and I get them in the same places as you mentioned. It is an embarassing and painful condition! Scars left behind...ugh! I don't have general wetness, but I get lots of bleeding between periods. I am on the birth control pill Yasmin which has helped with the bleeding. I, too, have to always wear a "little something" even when not having a period. My doctor believes the boils to be a metabolic problem related to insulin resistance and pre-diabetes. I haven't figured out if there is a relationship between lots of carbs and boils, though. Do you know of any correlation? I take 1500 mg of metformin a day and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference in my eating habits. I now eat less than half of what I used to! I have been on it since May. Not loosing an awful lot yet...still hopeful. Take care and good luck with the damn boils! :-) AmyK
