At age 24, I just found out I have PCOS a month ago and was put on 1000mg of Metformin. I feel like this is the missing link to so many of my questions. I have had sooo many of the symptoms since my early teens. I am still learning about PCOS. However I have yet to hear anyone comment about vaginal wetness. Since my teens I have had excessive wetting, so much so I use pads regularly. If I do not use a pad my pants are soaked. My doctor said my hormones are so unbalanced it may cause this, and that the medicine should help. Does anyone else with PCOS have excessive wetting??? Also all my life I have been plagued with boils. I have them in every crevice possible i.e. underarms, inner thighs, behind ears, under breasts, and so on. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know if this is associated with PCOS?? I wonder if this would fall under the excessive acne symptom. I would appreciate any advice or comments. Thank you in advance.
