Re: Alcohol and Metformin

Hello! I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS about four weeks ago. Since then I have been taking 1000mg a day of Metformin. I have noticed a big difference with my drinking habits. I am usually comfortable with 5 or six drinks. Now I have 1 (ONE) and I feel completely loaded. I went out with my sister and had two margaritas and could hardly walk and talk. I definitely have to change my consumption.I would strongly encourage those who drink alcohol to be careful especially if you are new to Metformin.
