Pamela,

I, too, am taking metformin for PCOS (500mg three times a day). I have lost 10 lbs, largely because I am nauseous, dizzy, and feel generally sick all the time. My doctor claims that these are normal side effects and should subside over time. Well, it has been 8 weeks, and I have not seen any improvement. I am taking the metformin in an attempt to conceive, so for now I am putting up with the misery. I hope you start to feel better soon.
