-- I have been on Yasmin for five weeks now I first noticed that my body hair on my chest and legs are growing alot less. I have PCOS as well and have body hair with it. I was feeling like Chubaca with hair on my chest and the five o'clock shadow on my legs. So shaving is better. My hair is not falling out as much on my hair LOL no need for draino anymore. My acne has gotten a little bit better I think, even though I am still getting the big deep sore lumps in my neck and jawline (which by the way is considered the hormonal place for acne). I have alot of clogging on my face and I know it will take time for what is already there to clear up but I can't wait for the acne to finally improve. I am waiting the three months to see what kind of improvemet I will get with the Yasmin. Within a month my cloged pores don't seem to be as bumpy and are smaller then before but my acne is not under control by far yet but slowly getting better I think. I lost two pounds with Yasmin and the progesterone in it actually works as a diruteic for it is chemically very similiar to Spironolactone (SP?) which is a diruetic/anti-androgen medication so the chances of gaining wieght on it is not nearly as likely with all the other pills out there. I did however get pain and blood midcycle so I don't know if I released a cyst or not or if it was breakthrough bleeding which you get sometimes the first month on birthcontrol pills. See every month for the past five months I release a cyst two weeks before my period and I hope that does not happen again this month. I also for acne use oral antibiotics, SAL AC cleanser, and benzaclin. Stronger topical medication helps my acne alot more however I can not tolerate it. For topical medication I would try ABY SKINCARE which you can find online. It works great however on my sensitive skin I could not tolerate their whole regimine but DAMN it does wonders on everyone else I know plus it is ran by doctors and nurses. If you don'thave sensitive skin I would give ABY a try or see a derm for the acne and they can put you on some kind of regimine.
