I am hoping for some insight or advice on how to handle the constipation. I am on Metformin for almost 3 weeks now, at 500mg twice daily. The constipation is terrible. I also have irritable bowel syndrome which has been under control with diet and exercise, but now with the Metformin nothing works. Anyone out there have any advice on what may help?
