I don't know if this will help, but I was recently diagnosed. My dr. put
me on Glucophage even though my test showed that i wasn't insulin
resistant (i'm taking 2000mg a day). Dr. said either glucophage or the
pill, so i am trying the glucophage b/c i have been on the pill for 5
years. So far the side affects have pretty bad and hopefully I will
adjust to the med. I hope you are able to find a compatible drug you
like, and don't give up trying to loose weight! Good luck and God bless.
