I take 1000mg a day for acne, i to read about it verses the prescription meds. it really seems to work for me. I have been taking it for about 4 months, and i rarely have a break out like i was having. AND it is soooooo much cheaper than the scripts.. look for pure b5 at your local hi health for about 10$ a bottle.. good luck
