Patti, hey. No problem. I love talking about my experience to help others. Yasmin, I think has more of the female hormones in it, or something to that effect. My periods are better because of it. I also used to have heavy and long periods, but since Yasmin, I clot a little, but nothing like before. I have little to no cramping with Yasmin, and it's the only one that hasn't made me sick. I guess it's wonderful for PCOS, or that's what the OBGYN told me when she put me on it. Yes, I have all the skin things, actually I think I have ever sym., lucky, huh! Yes, I have dark patches in the back of my neck, under my arms, under my boobs, my waist, in a lot of places, then I mostly have the skin tags under my arms, like just above my arm pit. And yes they itch a lot, but I dont' know of treatment yet for these things. Yes, I have found a lot of things that say if you loose weight most everything will go away, well people with PCOS have a very hard time loosing it and gain it rapidly, so in two weeks, I am having weight loss surgery because I am on 6 meds. and the problems keep getting worse. My insluin is good right now, but only because of the Avandia, but I am only 24 years old, I don't like taking pills, so by this surgery, I hope to get better. I also have the acne since I was a kids and still do, I use Proactiv, the one on TV, it is a miracle and Retin. I have facial hair on my chin and sides of my face, I pluck about an hour to 2 a day, so for these reasons, I am having surgery, I am not severly overweight, some people look at me, because I am tall and say, why are you having this done, but on the charts, I am morbidly obese, well I just lost 20 pounds because my doctor said he wouldnt' do the surgery unless he knew I was committed, so I might be out of the morbidly obese, so yeah I don't want to do the surgery, but I can eat 1,000 cal. a day and exercise 6 out of 7 days a week and loose maybe a half of pound if that. I dont' have much hair loss, but I have very thick hair from my parents, so it probably would be hard to notice. But yes, they say, people who have PCOS and loose a lot of weight, about the proper range a person should be, all the sym. go away, if it is true, I will tell you when I loose all my weight!!! Please, ask me anything, I dont' care at all, when I found out I had it in 2000, I had no one but a doctor to talk to that didn't know much about, I did my own research, please don't feel like you can't ask me 100 question, I don't mind at all!!! Brooke

P.S. Another reason for the surgery, I read that if you loose all your weight you can have kids, I want kids someday, I am still single, but it's something to think about, so that's another reason for wanting to loose this weight! Brooke
