Thank you, Brooke. It is nice to talk to another woman about this. How
exactly does Yasmin work? You see, I've never had any trouble with
missing periods. I've had terrible cramping and cloting, but they've
always been regular. I think that's why doctors never thought PCOS
before. The bcp definitely help with cramping and such. Do you by any
chance have that weird skin condition we can get, too. I have had an
itchy patch on my neck for almost ten years. I've just put up with it.
Now I find out by looking on the web that it'a all a part of this too!
Arg! Do you know, if we lose weight (if we're overweight) will these
weird and irritating characteristics (hair loss, tags, etc)go away? I'm
sorry for all the question... I'm so new at this.
Thank you,

>Patti, i just read your e-mail. I am on Yasmin, I have been now for over a year, i tried probably 5 different birth controls before I found it, or it came out. I love it. It works the best with my periods. I would highly recommend it!!!! As for the insluin meds. I wouldn't get on them unless you find your sugar is out of wack, but I couldn't take Metaformin so I started on Avandia, it is better on your stomach, but whatever your doctor thinks, doesn't this condition suck?
