But I wanted to let you know that I was diagnosed last March (2002)and have been on metformin 1700mgs daily and clomid 150mgs cycle day 5-9. Last August we took a test and were finally pregnant, but lost them at 2 1/2 months (there were three of them). I was advised by my doctor not to start trying again for 3 months to help my body get back up to strength and have started the meds again since January 2003. No luck yet, but we are hoping we get the chance again and things work out for the better this time. We do not have any children yet and have been trying for 6 years. Keep your head up and know that if you have a good doctor you should get through this okay. Good luck to you on your journey. :)~ (oh, and I never saw any side effects from the clomid, it was the metformin that didn't agree with me)
