Re: pcos and gastro bypass surgeryFrom: Dana (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 19 Jul 2003 06:22:49 -0700 (PDT)
I have never hear from anyone who had this proceedure and was a success or not. I am still wondering because I was told at mayo clinic I am in one of the top 5 worst cases of pcos..pcod in the nation. I have over 200 pounds to lose and so many other problems and yet my triglycerides, blood sugar and cholesterol are all good. Dr's just shuck me off and accuse me of being an eater. Then when the blood work comes back they say..well I am stumped...Gee lets send you to dr so and so...shucked off again..now 38 no way I can have children and have so much front baggage it's painful.

-- Dear Dana, Did you ever find someone who had the gastro bypass surgery for PCOS. I am diagnosed with PCOS & have been recommended to have the surgery. I'm wondering how others did with the surgery too!
