Re: Dr Sam, i have another question?From: =?iso-8859-2?q?Zalányi Sámuel ?= (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 8 Jul 2003 09:37:49 +0200
Hi Lisa, Sorry for the delayed response (I was on holiday for a week). You represent a tipical example of drs prescribing medicines for symptoms. If you have PCOS, an insulin sensitizer alone should help. (L-thyroxin is OK for hypothyroidism is a separate disease). You should check the ingredients of Diane-35: one component is cyproterone, the other ethinyl-esttradiol. The other difference is the dosage of cyproterone. If you would like to conceive no antiandrogen (cyproterone, finasterid or sprionolactone) should be taken for possible hazards to a male fetus. For your info
Sam
