Yes, funny that you mentioned weight gain with Yasmin. I have been on
Yasmin for about one year now. I have definatly gained about 10 pounds.
I did not associate it with Yasmin though. I thought it was because of
PCOS. I have always thought that Yasmin would have the opposite effect,
because of the diruetic in it. I really wonder if it is the Pill that
is making us gain weight. I would be really upset though, because I
don't know of another pill that I could take that helps so much with all
the other symptoms. The hair on my chest, face, etc. has completely
gotten under control and I don't feel like I am losing much hair on my
head anymore. Not to mention, I get my period every month, lasts about
3-4 days, no pain. I really do hope that Yasmin is not the reason that
we are gaining weight. I hope that a doctor will be able to answer
this, even though they don't like to blame the weight gain on anything
but our own selves.
