Jenni,
Many doctors are ignaorant or just stuck in the old ways of thinking.
Get on-line and do the research. Look up everything you can. These
cahts are helpful, but read someof the articles from medical journals. I
advise that you take soem of the information about glucophage or
metformine to your doctor. Do you want to get pregnant? This is a
common question because it can determine what treatment you need, but in
actuality, fertility problems are a sign, not the cause of PCOS. Treat
PCOS, not the symptoms whether you want to bet pregnant now or now. You
may want to in the future! Just read, read, adn read everything you can.
Start a low carb, more like high protine, diet and look at vitimin
suppliments.
