I have been on Metformin XR for a week and I have some questions...From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 1 Jul 2003 11:54:39 -0500 (CDT)
I was diagnosed with PCOS on June 4, 2003. I have gone to the OBGYN and I am on Metformin XR and have been for a week. I wanted to know if my menstration is going to be a lot heavier than ever before. I started my period on June 28, 2003 and I have been menstrating an extreme amount is that normal? I also go back next week for an ultrasound and then I will be placed on Clomid. Is there anything I need to be aware of with taking both Metformin Xr and clomid? I appreciate your help.
