Hi Dr. Sam,and everyone,
I don't know what to do. I'm currently on 2mg of Avandia, 200mg Spiro,and levothyroxine for thyroid. I tried Cyproterone Acetate, for a couple of months to help with the hairloss. The first month, i had absolutly no hair fall out it was great. I also lost my complete sexdrive. Also my period became irregular. Tried it for the second month, still no sexdrive, but i did loose hair for some reason.
I saw my DR. she says the side effects aren't worth it. I agree, so now i'm trying diane 35. It hasn't been a month yet, so i'm not sure what's up yet. A week ago i got a letter from the Dr's office, saying i could try finasteride (properia) for hairloss. Are the side effects different from the cypoterone? And should i still stay on Avandia? I went on this to try and regulate my period and to ovulate. Which i am. Now i'm on diane 35,which stops the ovaulation.. Should i just stop the Avandia? I really would like to try the propecia, for a hairloss solution. My Dr. basically has washed her hands of responsibility, she said it is my choice to stay on what drugs. Thanx for any help.
