Hi Everyone. I was diagonsed with POCS about three years ago, I am 28
years old and My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for about
4 years, with no luck. I did clomid for 6 months then saw and ENDO who
is wonderful. He put me on Metformin, Yasmin birth control, and Clomid
(4 pills), I have not begun ovulating yet. I took the birth control
pill for two months (this is supossed to help lower the male hormone)
then I took a heavey dose of clomid days 5-9 while taking metformin. My
Endo said that in studies 80-90% of women with my sympthoms ovulate. I
was a % who did not. BUT: he has had some women take 27 to ovulate so I
still have 4 days until then. I am hoping it happens. If it does not I
will start a series of shots that include a shot a day for 20 days. Has
anyone gotten to this point? I was also wondering if anyone experienced
weight loss from the metformin? I have not, although I have heard that
many women do. I am taking 1500mg (3 pills) a day. I do get stomach
pain. Losing weight has been very difficult for me, HELP.. Please
email me or respond. Jess

But im not i hve been with my partner for 5 years and am settled down we bought our first house together a year past may and i think that we have done quite well for being so young. I really want to try and have a baby. I have got another appointment at the doctors next week so i am going to ask him if i can come off the pill and try to have a baby. Thanks for giving me some hope
