I'm 18 weeks pregnant and for the first 13 weeks I took my full dosage of metformin. Since then I'm only taking 850mg a day with dinner. And I will continue with this for the remainder of my pregnancy. My amnio and ultrasounds look good and my instincts and all the research I could find seems to indicate that the met will not affect the baby negatively. On the contrary, research seems to show it will keep the pcos expectant mother in better health. For me, I've never felt healthier in my life. But the ultimate decision is yours and you have to do what you are comfortable with. Best of luck!
