Immunity side effects question??? does anyone relate?

I've read many of these posts for long time and have seen discussions of side effects I can really relate to. One that I hadn't seen or missed is how each month or so my body goes through a "cranking" of sorts and at that time it seems that my immunity is low and I'm liable to catch whatever flu is around or get skin infections and just totally feel very bad. The cranking has been releived some since on metformin but not completely. Some may just call this PMS but I think its related to the PCOS somehow. I'm real curious on the feedback.
