i've been diagnosed with pcos recently when we were trying to get pg real hard . now i'm on 3 mths BCPs to treat the cysts & thenafter my gyn. will keep me on some fertility drug for pg . last 4 mths. i've suffered from almost every symptom of this stinking thing worse of which is those unwanted hair . my gyn. currently isn't paying any attention to the cosmetic symptoms as our imp. concern is to get pg. but i want to try some herbal remedies which won't make any harm .

1)Can i take saw palmetto for hirsutism even if i'm on bcp ? i've read many success stories with this herb but i want to make sure it doesn't interfere with the bcp .

2)i've read that Black Cohosh is supposed to reduce the LH levels . has anyone obtain any good experience with that ? here i'm assuming that pcos briefly means the elevated LH levels...is it right ? if anyone has tried it plz. share the experience . again , i would be concerned about its interference with bcp & any negetive effect on the fertility treatment i'll be going under after 2 more cycles on them

3)Vitex is another herb i've heard a lot about that it balances ur hormones & boosts ovulation . but in one or two articles they say that don't take it if u have high LH levels . any thoughts on this one ?

i apologize for pouring so many questions at a time . but i'm going out of my mind for not being pg & getting depressed day by day seeing myself in the mirror being fat , hairy & bald . every line of knowledge u ladies have is helpful for me . thanx ahead of time .
