I have been on this medication for 6 weeks now - I experienced severe diarrhea and upset stomach for the first 3 weeks or so - and also loss of appetite (the ONLY thing that sounded good to me at all was M&M's!) so I played with my dosage a little, then started taking the medication later, as I found I don't eat enough for breakfast to prevent me from getting sick. I now take 1/2 of a 1000 mg pill at lunch, the other 1/2 at about 4pm, and the last 1000 mg whole pill at bedtime and I feel much better. I think a lot depends on how much you eat and when you do it.
