Do I really have PCOS?

I was just diagnosed yesterday with PCOS and after all I have read on the net, I am not entirely convinced that I have it. I have been overweight all my life, but have had regular periods as well. I have no hair loss, or hair growth. I miss one period in February, but have always been regular besides that. My OB-GYN did a fasting glucose test, which returned that my insulin level was 24, which I understand is extremely high. Aside from my weight and my insulin level, I demonstrate no other symptoms. Do I just have an extremely mild case?? According to all I have read, I am not sure such a thing exists. Has anyone else doubted their diagnosis. Thanks
