Reply: Allison: "Re: Bruising, fatigue with Metformin??" I have been on Metformin for almost a year now and I have developed symptoms in the last 2 months that concerns me. I have EXTREME fatigue (want to sleep all of the time), and I just recently starting getting bruised very easily with hardly any trauma (severe bruising has occurred by just scratching my leg when it itched!). Is this a side effect of Metformin? Or could it be the Effexor I am also taking with it? Any comments welcome! Thank you!
