This was discovered throug blood tests given to me by my ob due to my irreg periods and problems oncieving. As far as I knew, metaformin was first prescibed to get my diabetes under control and then help me to lose the extra weight so that i may become regular in my periods and have better luck concieving. I never knew that metaformin was also used to lower test.. levels, do you know anything else about this drug? I would appreciate the info
