Hi guys

I identify with you both. I've been trying to get pregnant since decembre 2002. Eventhough it's only been a few months, I feel that it's been a long ride of ups and downs. Right now, I'm feeling great. After 3 unsuccessful clomid cycles, I tried Atkins (no luck ovulating). Then, the Zone (great for losing weight, but I don't have a weight problem), which didn't help me ovulate either. Now, just two weeks before my 30th birthday, I got test results indicating that LH is now lower than my FSH and that I can expect spontaneous ovulation any month now! What helped me? I've been on 1000mg of metformin daily for only one month!!!! Am so happy, can't even contain myself! As for the side effects of met, be sure to take it with proper food. That is, no starchy, sugar foods. Eat veggies, fruits, poultry and fish. An ocassional bread won't harm you, but try not to eat it until you get used to the medication. That's the way I've done it, and so far, no side effects.

Good luck to all of you!!
