Hi Alison,

The starting dose should be 500/850 mg/day and keep it as low as possible as you are not diabetic. As I see it on this board REs and Ob/Gyns are too eager to increase the dose agressively without waiting for a low dose to work. To see if a dose is effective to restore your ovulation you have to wait at least 3 months. (Cf. my earlier postings) For your info
