I would be afraid to stop taking it. I have done this (am currently not on it without doctor notice) and I'm so afraid to start it back up because I know I'll be SICK...even on Glucophage XR. I had done this before and I was so ill..... Start now and by the time you have your trip, you'll probably be used to it.
