I have been on metformin (glucophage) - started off 1000mg nothing
happened for one whole year and ALL symptoms became worse (hair, weight,
acne, no periods for 18 months)
Have now come off the bcp and am now taking 3000mg metformin daily since
past couple of weeks and feel extremely sick and nauseous and sometimes
very dizzy too.
Has anyone else taken the same dose of metformin ? Did the hair and acne
and general testosterone levels improve ?
Also I would like to know if the sickness and dizziness is normal on
metformin- would appreciate any advice especially from Dr Sam.
