You should remember that metformin is not like birth control pills or other hormone pills that will regularise your period right away, it is more like an cure for your symptoms, ie missing period..so it basically makes your body funciton properly.. that takes times, dont expect to get your period 4 weeks after you start on it:) it took me 3 mths to get my period after i started on the met.. and 10 mths to get preg, i used to get it every 45 -50 days or sometimes sooner even.. so my body still has to regularise fully.
