Glucophage and still irregular periods?

I got on glucophage about 10 weeks ago. My first cycle on the glucophage was 29 days and by my temp, it looked like I ovulated on day 15. All normal. I didn't get pregnant, and so the next cycle on glucophage (1500 mg) is still ongoing. Its day 19 now, and I still haven't ovulated. I thought that glucophage made you regular and have 'normal' length cycles. Is that not true? Now, I'm scared that I will not ovulate and not get my period, and then what do I do? I cannot go on Clomid, and it hyperstimulates my ovaries and gives me terribly huge cycts.

Do I have no more options to try and get pregnant?
