Do I need more meds? FOr the last few months I have been having my period every 5 to 6 weeks, but it is not really regular. I have been having a watery, mucousy (sour smelling) discharge a few weeks before each period. I also feel a dull pain on one side around the same time. I am hoping this is ovulation. At any rate, I do not necessarily get my period EXACTLY 14 days after this... it may be a few more. This time I had the pain and discharge and pain almost 2.5 weeks ago, but I have been having that discharge again the past few days. Anyone know what is going on? SHould I be taking more than 1500 mg in order to become really regular? I should add that I am now 32. I was on the BCP fo several years mefore met.. and have never had this mucousy discharge in my life before about 8 months ago. I was also on regular Gluco for 1 year before I switched to XR.
