HI all.I have been reading lots of your messages. A few things I still don't understand: 1) I have been told I most likely have PCOS and because I want to conceive soon (and have irregular periods..2-3 a year only) my doctor said she'd try putting me on Glucophage. If it is successful in creating a regular period for me..how soon can I expect that? 2) I keep reading people talking about diet and being on Glucophage? Do i need to adhere to a special diet? I am not overweight and usually eat limited carbs anyway. Does the medicine work better if you are on a special diet? 3) There are sooo many back & forth Q&A's on this site about using alcohol w/ this medicine. Has there ever been a consensus on whether it's okay to have some wine now & then? Sorry If I sound clueless..but I am new to this all! Thanks for any help!
