Please do not stop the Met just because you are pregnant. Did you know that in studies that no Met taken in pregnancy gave women with pcos a 56% of miscarrage and when taking the met only a 7%. I had to educate my own doctor on why I would not stop taking it, even when he wanted me to. Also I cant spell but it has been shown to prevent gestational diabeties in late pregnancy. If you do not control your insulin levels. They may be passed onto the baby which can cause problems with development, at birth and after delivery. This is my opinion, everyone has the right to choose whats best for them. I would strongly recommend visiting the website http://www.soulcysters.com and read their pregnancy message boards and see what others with pcos have to say about the subject, there will also be links for documents that you can take to your doctor and have the latest information on pcos, met and pregnancy. Good Luck and may you and your baby be healthy and happy. Baby Dust
