Is there anyone out there that has been told they have PCOS but you don't have any of the 'signs' (facial hair, etc)? I've seen my ultrasounds and I do see cysts and according to my most recent blood work it shows that I do (what that means I don't know). My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 6 years, I'm 36yr old. I don't think I was diagnosed until about 33. The doctors initially couldn't find anything to pin it on so it went undiagnosed for a while. I've seen one doctor that says if I have PCOS it must be a very mild case. I get regular (30-35 day) menses, no facial hair, I do have acne but have had it all my life, I am overweight but don't carry it in the middle. I'm pretty average looking. I've tried various forms of infertility tx. Right now I'm on glucophage 500 + clomid 100. My OB said my progesterone was not the best (11). I tried 2 courses of gonal f about a year or so ago but it was too expensive to keep up. No other hints to the mystery of why I cannot get pregnant. I am interested to hear of anyone has had the same issues (not having all the signs of pcos) and what they're doctors have contributed their infertility to.
