Hi Jeanette,

Depo Provera (DMPA) provides lots of third world women with excellent contraception, but the cost is irregular cycles. As PCOSers already suffer from irregular cycles, DMPA is not for them. DMPA is also prone to increase weight, another argument against it. Insulin sensitizers tend to regulate your cycle in themselves, if not, you should take Provera (not the shot) or progesterone in a cyclic way to induce a bleed. For your info
