Hi Ann, Well I can only speak for myself but my side effects lasted about 3 weeks. I started off on 500 mg and steadily increased to 2500, which I have currently been on for about 4 months. It can be frustrating, but it is normal to have these side effects for the first few weeks. You are not alone! Some say it is related to what you eat although I never really noticed that myself. I have heard that if you take the pills with a high carb meal, the side effects are a lot worse. Hopefully, some other people will answer you with better advice! Hang in there! Livvie
