Reply: Brianne: "Re: Day 2 of Met... side effects! Help!" I took my first pill (500mg) at 11 last night (with a late dinner). Today at about 2pm I started with the nausea and diarrhea. I'm afraid to leave the house! I am supposed to move up to 1000mg daily after one week. Are the side effects supposed to taper off by then? Will I likely have side effects at the same time every day, or is it directly related to what I eat? I just want to know how long I must suffer through this.
