When I had my prolactin tested it came back a little bit high, but the next time I had it tested it was very low. I figured out that the first time I took the test I was PMSing, and during this time your prolactin levels are elevated, that's what makes your breasts sore. The second time I was not PMSing...so if you were PMSing the first time you might want to go back and have it checked again.
