Your husband could end up with high sugars from the beer and no med Then later he could crash (low blood sugar).Right on my bottle is a warning not to drink while taking this med.Do a search on Met on the web show to husband,he isn't taking this very seriosly. Diabetes isn't a forgiving disease, you either take care of yourself or there is serious complications.Nerve damage is a very painful misery to live with, no legs or feet is a real bummer. Kidney failure is a slow totaly draining death. I hope your hubby wakes up soon. For now you need to read up so you can support him,but accept he is the one who has to make the choices.Stay strong
