I'm not sure if there's a time frame, but I always feel that if your body is telling you something is different you need to rule out what it isn't. Another classic thyroid issue is exteme tiredness,specially in the am after waking. My husband was calling me a courpse for over a year before I was diagnosed with thyroid. Meds seem to be helping with some of the tiredness but I have extreme dry skin now, thanks in part to that little thyroid. Good luck :))At Tue, 25 Mar 2003, Lakefever2 wrote: >
