A cure for acne!

A few months ago I wrote to the forum about the problems I was having with facial acne. It was especially pronounced on my jawline. I recall seeing other women posting to the forum with similar acne woes.

Well, I went to see a dermatologist, and he told me to use the following products. And it has worked like a charm. I no longer have acne, and it has made a WORLD of difference for me!

*Face wash - Cetaphil. This is something you can buy in the grocery store - it is not prescription. I use this at night, and in the morning I just wash my face with water. * At the start, I used an antibacterial acne treatment called Solugel. I used this every second night. I put this on right after washing my face with Cetaphil. Now that my acne is gone, I use this only once a week because it can be drying to the skin. * the dermatologist prescribed a face cream, which is "erythromycin 2% in complex 15 lotion". I use this day and night, and on the nights when I use Solugel I wait for the Solugel to dry (10 mins) and then apply the lotion over top. This lotion is a little bit drying, but nothing like another lotion I was first prescribed which was erythromycin 4%. That dried the heck out of my skin - it was awful.

I have been using this combination of products now for 3 months, and have been acne free. I noticed a difference within 2 days of using these products - it was amazing! I hope this will help others out there who are suffering with acne. Having facial acne was just horrible. It makes you so self-conscious, to the point where you are almost embarrassed to go out. Anyways - this worked for me. I hope it works for you!
