Dr. Sam,
I read a study on Medline in which 2 groups of hirsute women were given
either spiro by itself or spiro and diane-35 together, and the results
were a bit better in the group that took both, leading to the conclusion
that the two drugs taken together may have a synergistic effect. My
endo. originally prescribed me both Yasmin and Spiro together with this
same idea in mind, but the Yasmin gave me a racey heart so I quit it.
That's why I thought I'd try out the Diane-35 instead. Is there some
problem with taking the two together that I don't know about?
