I can't get into the website you posted. The http://www.arbonn-central.com/detail2.asp?product_ID=FYI-14. link gives me a 404 error message, and when I try http://www.arbonn-central.com/ or http://www.arbonne-central.com (in case it was misspelled) I get a message stating I am not authorized to view this page, or a pop-up window asking for a password. Could you re-post a link that is open to the public? I'd like to see the studies.

The testimonials won't do it for me. I'm a basic science type of gal....

As someone who has also participated in research (albeit on the clinical end collecting data, rather than the publishing or writing end) I agree that there are a few bad apples out there, but I'd hate to paint all medical research with the same broad brush. We've got to be able to trust some research, and if there is a review article done without pharmaceutical industry support, or a Cochrane review, I tend to trust the findings. I also take offense that someone might look upon data that I collected as "faked." I can assure you I've never done anything of the sort!

This is true for any p.o medication, not just P4. But there comes a time that you have to trust pills for certain things, and when I need something that can be stored at room temp. while I'm out of town, a p.o. form sounds like a better option. I have heard less than enthusiastic things about bio-adhesive gels, but they could be stored at r.t also, and perhaps the dosing switch from one intravaginal form to another would be more straightforward.

Agreed. I don't have the experience to figure it out on my own (I'm not in GYN or endo,) my RE is chronically out of town, and his office is not very helpful when I have questions. Perhaps the pharmacist who makes my current suppositories could help me here.

Likewise, I sometimes feel I am being "jumped" for being on the side of Western medicine as opposed to herbals. I just like to see reproducible, non-biased data on something before I use it. When I look up the P4 creams, most of the "data" comes from Dr. Lee, whom I suspect is just a tad biased himself. Do you have any research done by other people?

I'll let you know if I get back online before I leave.
