Hi Christina,

I know the feeling of wanting to cry sometimes so i thought i d write you some. I am 24 and i ve been using metformine for almost a year now and i can say it does have positive effects for me:) I am less tired after a meal and i can handle all food better in general. It s like my metabolism is "getting normal". It gives me more energy all day, it s like i get more energy out of food than before. I lost some weight as a bonus, although weight wasn t an issue for me ( i am only 125 so not too heavy).

When you start metformine make sure your doc is monitoring you in the beginning to avoid lactic acidosis. It s not a common side effect but important to avoid! It turned out i was at risk for it, so i can take only a low dose (750 a day). I m happy i could keep that dose because i couldn t do without it.

hope i helped you somewhat this way

greetings
