Kalee, Not everyone with PCOS has all of the symptoms, you probably have always had PCOS but the symptoms are just showing up now. Metformin does cause diarhea. I had nausea and diarhea really bad at first. I have been on Metformin for a couple of months now and it has improved a lot, I am learning what I can and cannot eat. It really helps to avoid too many hight carbohydrate and fatty foods. I have also found that with Metformin, too much dairy will cause diarhea for me. Good Luck!!! Jodi
