I was about 24 when all my symtoms began. I am now 31 and have been to many doctors. Luckily, I just found a new female OBGYN who is very thorough and put me on Metformin. Anyway, the first things I noticed was a skipped period here & there. Then I went into a deep depression which was weird for me because I have always been bubbly and happy-go-lucky. Then came the weight gain...I packed on 50 lbs. in what seemed to be overnight! Of course, the hair was next. There is one symptom that I've been experiencing for years that I haven't seen much of from other ladies on the site: I've lost my sex drive. Thank God my husband is patient, understanding and supportive. Any time you'd like to chat, I'm here for you! We're all in the same boat.
