I myself was on Met abolout three years ago and stopped because it made me ill. I have been trying to conceeive for about 6 years now and realized that I need to go back on Met. After speaking with my doctor she was unsure if I could take when trying to conceive and when preg. I called Mother Risk as instructed by my doctor and found out that not only is it fine to take while trying to concecive (which I already knew) but it was also fine to take during pregnancy. The Dr. told me about a case study that was done on 23 women and out of those women only one had a child with birth defects. Which could or couldnt have been from Met. And that is the normal percecntage for birth defects without met anyway. I hope this helps.
